Why did Elon Musk terminate Twitter CEO?
the story of Elon Musk terminating Twitter’s CEO. It’s a complicated one, but here’s what happened.
Two main reasons in my opinion.
First: Back in 2018, Elon Musk was a vocal supporter of the #deletefacebook movement, calling for people to delete their Facebook accounts in protest of Facebook’s data and privacy policies. In response, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey tweeted that he was “delighted” to see people deleting their accounts.
This didn’t sit well with Musk, who believed that Dorsey was encouraging people to delete their Facebook accounts without considering the consequences. Musk then went on a Twitter rant, calling out Dorsey for what he believed was irresponsible behavior. In response, Dorsey issued an apology and attempted to explain his position.
However, Musk wasn’t satisfied and decided to terminate Dorsey as Twitter’s CEO. So there you have it. In short, Elon Musk terminated Twitter’s CEO because he felt that Dorsey had acted irresponsibly by encouraging people to delete their Facebook accounts without considering the consequences.
The second reason is that Elon Musk might be a bit vindictive. After all, Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal gave him a hard time when Elon Musk was trying to cancel his takeover offer. He did his best to protect Twitter’s and shareholders’ interests as his mandate required, but that was tantamount to making life difficult for Musk.

Musk must see this as an opportunity to exact a little revenge.
In any case, it is very likely that Parag Agrawal did not share the same views as Elon Musk for the future of Twitter. His departure was therefore inevitable in any case. So the sooner the better. At least no one is wasting their time!
