The ASUS rog FX503 is a compact and powerful Windows 10 Asus Gaming Laptop that packs the latest Standard Voltage Intel Core processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 Series graphics. A high-capacity battery ensures you stay productive and entertained throughout the day,

while the intelligent cooling system enables graphically-intense gaming sessions without throttling. And with its lightweight design, it’s easy to carry all the power and performance you need to play or produce,

The Asus FX503 gaming laptop is the most stylish gaming laptop you could buy moment. But for its price, it’s clearly an option worth considering for casual gamers. The ideal use case for such a laptop, in my opinion, is FX503 dedicatedly made for gaming but is rather a blend of gaming, productivity, and everyday functionality. To put it simply,

the FX503 works if you’re a gamer only in the gloamings, and want to get some work done during the day. The sheer tackle power in the laptop makes it further than able to run regular tasks, including videotape and print editing and regular use.

Asus Rog FX503 Gaming Performance

The ASUS rog FX503 is equipped with the 7th Generation Intel Standard Voltage Core i5 Quad Core processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics with full Microsoft DirectX 12 support, all engineered into a body that’s as stylish as it is lightweight. This ASUS FX503 performance is matched by a high-capacity battery to ensure long-lasting gaming.

The ASUS FX503 Graphics Card is good and almost never gets to 100 percent. The CPU often caps out which makes games run slower which is not great but you can run 1080p in all games and still get at least 60 frames per second.

If you lower the settings to 1080p but no shadows and stuff like that you can get 120 fps which is great for competitive players. A problem is the CPU and GPU can easily get to 85-90 degrees Celsius. I bought a cooling pad from tree new bee (not sponsored btw) and it put my temperatures down about 10 C.

The cooling pad is great and it gives two extra USB ports which is a nice quality of life change. The fans on the computer a loud when playing but when I put on my headphones I cannot hear them so it is really not that big of a problem.

Rog FX503 Display

Asus rog FX503 display features a 15.6-inch Full HD display. This display delivers great contrast and color consistency, 120hz monitor is very good and most games will utilize it, and there’s no color shift even when viewing from extreme positions, so it’s always easy to see what’s onscreen. We’ve even applied a matte finish, virtually eliminating distracting glare or reflections.

Asus Rog FX503 Battery Life

The battery life is not fantastic. Doing normal work and using chrome life is about four hours. The computer is a little heavy so bringing it in a backpack is slightly heavy, but I got used to it after about a week with it.
